Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Middle Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Node.js, with a focus on database management using MariaDB and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment and collaborating with a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js.
• Design and manage database schemas and perform efficient queries using MariaDB and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with front-end developers on integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Engage in project planning and estimation.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in Node.js development.
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of Node.js frameworks.
3. Experience with MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases.
4. Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code.
5. Familiarity with front-end technologies (like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with message brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
2. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
